This is my Camino. Welcome.

Friday thought-vomit

If you didn’t know what Spider Monkeys were and someone was like, “I’m thinking about getting a Spider Monkey for a pet”…does that not sound like the most terrifying animal?

Spiders on their own are creepy, I think most of us can agree on that.

We’re conditioned to think that monkeys are cute, and they kind of are. But, they also have that dark side that works for the Wicked Witch of the West and rips peoples’ faces off.

Even Curious George has done some time:

Thanks to this blog.

So, yeah. Spider monkeys.

Today was a day of tough decisions, lines drawn-in-the-sand, straight-forward words and big-girl panties.

Thanks for letting me use your images, internet.
Thanks for letting me use your images, internet.

I didn’t want to be at this point, you know?

I want to be treated respectfully from the get-go so I don’t have to speak up.

But, I did.

Yay, adulthood.

Thanks for making me stronger.

I go to a Chaldean wedding tonight. Something tells me there is not enough glitter in the world to help me fit in.

Looking forward to it. 🙂

John Blase continues to blow me away. Read his stuff, please.

This line has haunted my thoughts for a few weeks now:

Perhaps the
grander wish is to be a woman’s man
or a child’s man or a dog’s man.
Those are the men missed when
they are finally gone.

!!

Read the rest. (It’s, like, a paragraph of short you guys).

The brothers are out of town for the weekend. SO MUCH GIRLIE STUFF. Like circus class and shopping. Yessssss.

There is no number seven. I’m still straightening out too many Camino questions.

Have a good weekend!

OR ELSE.
